Thanks for sending the updated plan. I have read through the schedule and the budget, and everything looks good to me. Could we move our meeting to Thursday morning? That would give me time to gather a few notes from the team and send you a clearer reply before we talk.
Say it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is speaking faster than typing?
For most people raw speaking is faster than typing, but it varies a lot by person, keyboard and what you're writing. This test measures your own numbers on the same passage, so you don't have to rely on averages.
How is typing speed calculated?
The standard way: every five characters you type count as one word, divided by the minutes you took. Accuracy is shown separately.
How is speaking speed calculated?
The passage's word count divided by the time you took to read it aloud. The page only times you. It never uses your microphone and nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.
Is dictation faster than typing in real use?
Dictation adds a short pause for transcription and a quick read-through to fix errors, so real-world gains are smaller than raw speaking speed. Prose like emails, messages, notes and AI prompts benefits most. Precise edits and code often stay faster on the keyboard.
How do I dictate on a Mac in any app?
macOS has built-in Dictation. Morning is a Mac app that adds push-to-talk dictation: hold Control + Space, speak, release, and the text pastes into whatever app you're using.
Does Morning send my voice to the cloud?
No, not by default. Morning transcribes on your Mac using local Whisper models. Optional cloud AI features are off unless you turn them on.
What do I need to run Morning?
A Mac running macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. There's a free trial, then a $19 one-time launch price with no subscription.
