Is the free plan enough?
It depends on how much you write. The free plan gives you 2,000 words a week on desktop. If you dictate emails and messages all day, you may hit that limit by midweek. If you dictate a few notes, it may be plenty.

What the price does not show
Your voice goes to the cloud. Wispr Flow's help center says "An internet connection is required for transcription" (docs.wisprflow.ai, checked Oct 26, 2026). So it does not work on a plane or with bad Wi-Fi.
It is a subscription. You keep paying for as long as you use Pro. You can cancel any time under Plan & Billing in the app, according to Wispr Flow's pricing FAQ.
It works on more devices. Wispr Flow runs on Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android. If you need dictation on a PC or a phone, that is a real reason to pay for it.
